2009: An iphone app instead of a paper conference guide!
We decided to make some very cool friends at ThoughtWorks, and skip the printed Conference Guide this year, (cool! Good news!) we are thrilled to be saving resources and using less paper and now have a West Coast Green iPhone app that ingeniously provides the full conference schedule, abstracts, site maps of Fort Mason, an easy way to tweet about sessions, and rate the talks. Oh no! No iPhone? Well, there is still time to get one, but never fear, we have a web-based app as well as a pdf you can print from home. Or find a friend with an iPhone and come together!
